TT Race Road Closure details

Full timetable of road closure and opening times

The Isle of Man Government’s Motorsport Team has highlighted the road closure schedule that will be in operation on Monday’s racing programme if the event goes according to the timetable.

The days’ action includes the four lap Monster Energy Supersport Race at 10.45 and Royal London 360 Superstock Race at 15.15. There is also the chance for fans to see the first Subaru demonstration lap at 13.40. Spectators are reminded that this is a demonstration lap at 13.40 and not the car indicating that the roads are now open.

The roads will close at 9.30 on the mountain and 10.00 around the rest of the course. The intention is to have the roads open car leaving St Ninians by 17.50. A second roads open car will depart from the Creg Ny Baa at 18.00 opening the stretch from the Creg Ny Baa to St Ninians. It is hoped to have that stretch open by 18.05 and then the mountain section of the course from Ramsey Hairpin to the Creg Ny Baa will be open by no later than 19.05.

During the day, the crossing points around the course, assuming everything goes according to schedule, will start to open from St Ninians at 13.50 and will all close again at 14.55.

The programme has been designed to minimise any disruption, particularly to commuters in Douglas as well as giving fans an action packed and varied day of events. Visitors and residents are also encouraged to stagger journeys, to use public transport and to car share to reduce the number of vehicles on the road. The full bus schedule will revert to normal at 19.05.
