Onchan Commissioners are reminding their tenants they'll need permission to rent their home for TT.
On Facebook, the local authority says anyone in its public sector housing needs to ask before taking part in the Homestay scheme.
The initiative sees householders renting rooms to visitors, increasing the number of bed spaces available and earning rent-free income.
But doing so without approval breaches tenancy agreements - it says you should email its housing office here.
