A 60 year old from Ramsey has seen a charge of driving on a closed road during TT dropped.
Alan Kermode of Church Road was accused of driving onto the course after a red flag incident during a sidecar session on May 29.
Prosecutor Sara Jayne Dodge said she accepted it had been a genuine mistake and he'd left the road as soon as he'd realised - so it wasn't in the public interest to proceed.
His advocate told the court Mr Kermode had spent a night in police cells, describing it as 'disgraceful' and claiming there'd been a lack of barriers in front of homes.
The charge was marked withdrawn.
