Triumphant end for Island's swim team

Team Isle of Man's swimmers have had a triumphant end to their Commonwealth Games by smashing another Island record.

The men's 4 x 100m medley relay team - comprising of Alex Bregazzi, Grant Halsall, Guy Davies and Tom Bielich - beat the senior record by just under six seconds with a time of 3:58.66s.

It was the 17th Island record broken at the Glasgow event - with eight semi-final appearances during this year's competition.

The swim team's achievements have been all the more remarkable considering there were no Island swimmers at the previous Commonwealth Games in Delhi in 2010.
