Tributes are being paid to road racing 'icon' Phil Read MBE, who has died aged 83.
He was the first competitor to win world championships in 125 cc, 250 cc and 500 cc classes, and won the Island's TT races a total of eight times.
The Southern 100 sends their condolences to Phil's family and friends, and thanks him for his presence at the friendly races.
