Tributes paid to million-selling Island crime novelist

Tributes are being paid to an Island writer whose work is being turned into a movie starring Martin Freeman this year.

Alan Bradley passed away at the age of 87 this week.

The Canadian-born author created child  detective Flavia de Luce in his debut novel "The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie".

The 12th book in the series - which has sold millions of copies worldwide - is due to be released later this year, along with a big-budget film version of the first volume.
