Tributes are being paid to an Island writer whose work is being turned into a movie starring Martin Freeman this year.
Alan Bradley passed away at the age of 87 this week.
The Canadian-born author created child detective Flavia de Luce in his debut novel "The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie".
The 12th book in the series - which has sold millions of copies worldwide - is due to be released later this year, along with a big-budget film version of the first volume.
