A man's won £5,000 from a Douglas software company after an employment tribunal found the firm sacked him after trying to unilaterally change his contract.
Oscar Jorgen Max Overgaard was hired by MIR Ltd of Athol Street in 2017 - but the company wanted to extend his probationary period and sacked him when he refused to agree.
Mr Overgaard claimed wages he said he'd lost when he was fired without the stipulated three months notice.
The employment tribunal said the attempt to change the contract had been 'obviously unlawful' and awarded Mr Overgaard £5,000.
