A Douglas man will stand trial in November after denying assaulting his girlfriend.
21-year-old Anthony Robert Collis, of Mona Street, allegedly punched her in the face during an argument on September 3rd.
He denies assaulting her and causing her actual bodily harm - he's also entered a not guilty plea to a charge of having a prohibited article in a public place on the same date.
A trial will take place in the summary court on November 12th.
There was no application for bail and he was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until his next court appearance on October 9th.
