He's been charged with 14 offences including seven of rape, a number of assaults and conduct amounting to harassment - they allegedly took place between April 2013 and April this year.

The 14 day jury trial is due to begin on May 2nd 2017 - it will be presided over by Deemster Birkett.

An application for bail was deferred to a hearing scheduled for next week - he was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until that appearance on September 9th.
