Treasury experiencing delay in benefit cheques

Benefit claimants will have to wait for their money with government experiencing a delay in issuing the payments.

The Treasury is experiencing issues with the printing of cheques - those that were supposed to be delivered today will arrive tomorrow instead.

However those people who wish to receive their cheque today can collect it from the general counter on the ground floor of Markwell House.

Social Security has apologised for any inconvenience and is urging anyone with questions to telephone 685094.
