The Island's steam trains will roar back into life from today as the heritage railways begin a partial return.
The Steam Railway is welcoming back passengers between Thursdays and Sundays until September 13, with the dining car expected to return from next Thursday (July 30) with several new events for it planned.
The trains will be running on timetable 'R' for the summer schedule, details of which are available at www.rail.im.
Meanwhile, the Manx Electric Railway will get back up and running in two days time (July 25) and will operate between Saturdays and Tuesdays until September 13.
The Snaefell Mountain Railway won't be running this summer, however, due to 'financial and operational challenges'.
