Police are warning people to stay away from the centre of Douglas after work.
Both the Ben-my-Chree and the Manannan are set to arrive at the Sea Terminal around 6pm.
Traffic is expected to be bad along Lord Street, South Quay, and down the Promenade.
Bad weather delayed a Liverpool to Douglas trip at 12.00pm until 3pm causing it to potentially dock at the same time as a ferry arriving from Heysham.
