Grand Prix Date is Provisional Says Minister

The Tourism Minister Martyn Quayle has spoken to three fm to give his response to the motorsports calendar clash, which could prove problematic to next years TT visitor figures.

As it stands the Grand Prix falls on the same day as Mad Sunday, the recent Grand Prix just gone attracted over 140,000 fans to the event.

The Minister said they are 'trying to establish a dialogue' with the Grand Prix organisers, to see if the date could be re-arranged.
