A burning toaster sparked an alert for fire crews yesterday.
Firefighters in Douglas were called to a house in Port E Chee Avenue at 11.30am.
The occupants, who'd evacuated the property, told them the kitchen appliance had caught light - firefighters tackled the blaze with a CO2 fire extinguisher.
The kitchen suffered minor heat and fire damage.
