Some impressive times were recorded in last night’s fifth Manx Grand Prix qualifying session – although it wasn’t without drama.
Dan Kneen posted his fastest time of the week in the Classic Superbike class while rider liaison officer John Barton posted his first 110mph of the week as he looked to emulate last year’s podium place.
Olie Linsdell topped the 500cc Classic with James Cowton posting the fastest Junior newcomer time of the week.
However Keith McKay sustained a shoulder and rib injury after coming off at Braddan Oak, Daniel Crozier was airlifted to Noble’s Hopsital with a shoulder injury and Andy Wilson was treated by a traveling marshal following an incident at Tower Bends.
