Three Island residents have been included in the Queen's New Year Honours 2022.
Colin Leather is made an MBE after his dedication to the improvement of Castletown, where he has been Chairman of the town's commissioners six times.
Bernadette Williams also recieves an MBE after representing the Island for nearly 40 years through the Royal British Legion and Tynwald.
And finally, Alex Townsend has been awarded the British Empire Medal for services to education on the Isle of Man, after starting up the Computerbus to teach thousands of pupils ICT skills.
