Airport sees nearly 10% increase
There have been some positive figures recorded at Ronaldsway last month with a significant passenger increase, despite the threat of more volcanic ash.
Just under 60,000 passengers passed through the airport in May representing a 10% rise on last year’s figures.
Routes to Manchester, Southampton and Brussels all performed well.
Airport Director, Ann Reynolds has said they have come a long way since the chaotic period in 2010 which crippled the European airline network.
