Thief steals from Church honesty box

The church is now considering closing the facility during the day due to this incident.

Police in Peel are searching for a thief who took stole from St James’s Church in Dalby.

They entered the church sometime after 12pm on Sunday 16th October helping themselves to money from the honesty cash boxes, aswell as several items of ‘Fairtrade’ confectionery that was on display within the church.

The church is now considering closing the facility due to this incident.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may be able help with this matter.
