A teenager who admitted money-laundering using a mobile phone app will be sentenced this month.
Charlie Davison of Spring Valley Road in Douglas appeared before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
The 19 year old pleaded guilty to converting £13,970 in criminal cash and transferring £14,400 between February and September last year.
Prosecutor Hazel Carroon told the hearing Davison had paid the cash into his bank and used a Revolut account to send the money to people in the UK.
After the prosecution asked for a confiscation order, Mr Brooks committed Davison to the Court of General Gaol Delivery for sentencing.
He was bailed to appear in the higher court on August 26.
