It's been another strong morning for Manx swimmers in Glasgow - with Niamh Robinson securing a spot in tonight's 50m Backstroke semi-finals in a record breaking time.
The 14-year-old was superb in this morning's display as she set a new Island junior and senior best with a time of 31.03s.
Charlotte Atkinson also beat her own Island record in the 200m Butterfly by recording a time of 2 minutes 16.64 seconds.
In the earlier events Alex Bregazzi won his third heat of this year's Commonwealth Games with the 16-year-old setting a new personal best to seal a victory in the 50m Freestyle.
Tom Bielich also excelled in the 50m Freestyle event as the Maughold swimmer finished 3rd in his heat.
And finally Grant Halsall put in another solid performance in his 200m Backstroke heat. The 20-year-old finished 10th overall narrowly missing out on a place in tonight’s final.
