A Ramsey man who took over 25,000 photographs of unsuspecting women and girls has been spared prison.
45-year-old Craig Neil Taylor, of Royal Park, took the photos - mainly focussing on the bottom half of the complainants - between September 2013 and March this year.
He later pleaded guilty to three offences of displaying conduct amounting to harassment.
At Douglas Courthouse, earlier this week, Taylor's behaviour over the three year period was described as "predatory stalking".
His advocate told the court he was a "mentally vulnerable person" adding "these were quite bizarre offences".
Sentencing him Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes said the victims had "clearly all suffered some form of distress" telling Taylor "you had no thought to them".
She handed him a 14 week prison sentence suspended for two years and placed him under a two year Suspended Sentence Supervision Order - Taylor was also ordered to pay costs of £125.
