A man’s admitted supplying class A drugs after he was caught on a pub’s CCTV letting his friend sniff cocaine from his hand.
Jason Cain of Alder Road in Pulrose appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 28 year old admitted possessing cocaine and supplying the drug in the Pinewood social club on Laburnum Avenue in Douglas on December 23.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing staff called police after seeing the incident, and after footage showed Cain putting something in a pool table pocket officers discovered 0.2 grammes of the drug worth £20.
Cain’s advocate told the hearing his client had been celebrating his birthday and made a stupid decision.
Mrs Hughes imposed a five-month jail term, suspended for two years, fined Cain £500 and ordered him to pay £125 costs.
