Police are urging drivers to calm down in the sunny weather.
The Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team says while it's pleased the weather has improved, it's led to reports of dangerous driving on the Mountain Road.
After multiple reports this week, it says it now has officers on patrol in both marked and unmarked vehicles on the route.
Officers are asking people to drive safely and to the conditions.
