One of the Isle of Mans strongest medal hopes at the Commonwealth Games has dropped out.
Peter Kennaugh, who rides professionally for Team Sky, has personally made the decision with 3 other cyclists, not to compete in the event in Delhi over health and safety concerns.
3FM have been told by Manx cycling manager Gary Hinds that Peter was the main medal prospect on the track and he was Mark Cavendish's right hand man in the road race.
It comes as a blow to the cyclist who won the scratch race at the British National Championships in Manchester last night.
