Rock star Paul Roberts, lead singer of the Stranglers, will be one of the judges at this year's Guild.
He'll adjudicate at the Battle of the Bands during the 2018 Manx Music, Speech and Dance Festival at the Villa Marina.
The event takes place in April, and will see Isle of Man musicians competing against each other in a variety of classes.
Paul sang with the Stranglers for 16 years and also appeared in the BBC period drama Cranford.
