Strand Street is faring well this Christmas amid competition with online retailers.
That’s the verdict of the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce who say early indicators would suggest the high street is not losing the battle just yet.
Steve Bradley is the chairman of the retail committee for the chamber - he says that after a troubling five years, things are picking up on the high street.
