A new £400,000 locomotive has arrived on the Island.
The 42.5 ton diesel-electric machine has been craned onto the steam railway in Douglas.
It replaces the old Viking diesel and is the first new locomotive to be introduced to the fleet since 1926.
The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure says it will help reduce costs and increase support on the railway.
