The Steam Packet's thanked the public after receiving over 4,500 responses to a survey this month about the design of its future ship.
It says some trends have already emerged from the results, such as customers prioritising all-year, all-weather sailings.
The company adds there's strong support for a year-round Liverpool service, and travel time is a major factor for people when booking ferries.
A total of 30 percent of respondents were from off-island, including TT visitors, marshals and other tourists - with the full results to be published in the future.
