The Steam Packet Company has called off two sailings this weekend in the face of bad weather.
The Manannan's planned sailing to Liverpool at 10am on Saturday and her return trip at 7.15pm have both been cancelled.
Gale force winds and high seas have been forecast for the weekend, and two Ben my Chree sailings are also under threat.
The company is expected to make an announcement about the Heysham services by 5.30pm.
