The Steam Packet have announced their first major cut backs as they struggle to bridge the deficit created by new freight competition.
In his latest blog Steam Packet Chief Executive Mark Woodward announced that the Snaefell vessel will no longer feature as part of their operational fleet.
The Manannan vessel will now be operating on the Belfast and Dublin routes however as a knock on there will be 11 less crossings for the Ireland route.
The decision was reached following a review into sailing frequency and fares.
Asides from the exclusion of the Snaefell vessel things are staying much the same as before, with the P&O Express to be chartered to cope with the influx of tourists during the TT.
