The Steam Packet Company is assisting passengers affected by the collapse of airline Flybe.
The organisation is reassuring customers they have 'considerable excess capacity' available on most sailings throughout the year and is arranging to bring in extra reservations staff to deal with the rise in enquiries.
It's Chief Executive, Mark Woodward, says they will look to increase the space available on its vessels where practical and remain in contact with the Island's patient transport department to offer ongoing support.
Flybe went into administration this morning meaning all its flights to and from the Island have been cancelled.
