The Isle of Man’s exposure in the UK press this week is on a par with a major advertising campaign.
The Island has just been crowned the best stargazing location in the British Isles - something which attracted UK press attention, reaching millions of people worldwide.
The last time the Island received a boost like this was from a TV advertising campaign in 2009/10 which cost well over £1 million.
Head of tourism Angela Byrne says some basic PR work has spawned the numerous write ups - and is branding the coverage priceless:
DOI considering more restrictions for young drivers
Cav to start legendary Le Mans 24 hour race
