Authorities are warning of standing water on the Mountain Road and Douglas to Ramsey Coast Road this morning.
It comes following poor weather overnight with a yellow weather warning for heavy rain still in place until 10am.
Police are asking motorists to take care and drive to conditions on the A18, whilst those travelling between Laxey and Ramsey on the A2 are being advised only to travel on the route if absolutely necessary.
Meanwhile, officials added the corony at Maughold is currently impassable at this time.
