An appeal has gone out for more volunteers to help an Island charity carry out lifesaving work.
Tonight, St John Ambulance starts a 16-week pathway programme to introduce people to the organisation and train them to become first-aiders.
Each year the charity helps to provide cover at some of the Island’s biggest events and runs the Community First Responder scheme.
