Firefighters say they were called to a block of flats in Onchan earlier.
The Fire and Rescue Service says it was called to Kensington Place apartments in the early hours of this morning.
A fire broke in a utility room but a sprinkler system extinguished the fire.
Only slight damage was caused during the incident.
