The Isle of Man Sports Awards shortlist has been announced.
The sports man and woman of the year sees new additions to the shortlist of familiar names - with an additional category created; honouring the veteran sportsperson of the year.
Cyclist Mark Cavendish will be pitted against Peter Kennaugh; who claimed a silver medal in last years Commonwealth Games.
TT star Conor Cummins and shooting world record holder Tim Kneale also feature.
Youth Olympics silver medalist Charlotte Atkinson is up against tough competition from snowboarder Zoe Gillings, fell running champion Jackie Taggart, cyclist Anna Christian, young athlete Sarah Astin and winner of three gold medals at the Scurry and Trials Driving World Championships, Sue Denny.
Enduro stars David Knight and Danny McCanney have been shortlisted in both the Sportsman and 2014 IoM Ambassador categories.
The event will be held at the Villa Marina on Thursday 26th March.
