A Port Erin commissioner has announced he'll stand for Rushen in the general election.
Gary Chambers will be running as a candidate for Lib Vannin.
He says he wants to see government-backed mortgages, more local produce in supermarkets, and the meat plant to be fit for purpose.
The general election will be on Thursday, September 24.
