Soldiers Trek Around Island For Charity

100 Mile Trek To Raise Money for Wounded Soldiers

Two soldiers will be walking the entire coastline of the Isle of Man in an effort to raise funds for their injured comrades.

The ‘hike for heroes’ expedition will take four days and see both Nik Smith MBE and Pete Alladice walk around the 100 miles of the Island's coastline.

The soldiers from the Royal Logistic Corps will be completing the trek while carrying all their supplies and camping equipment.

The charity Help For Heroes assists servicemen and women who have been wounded in action, it’s raised millions of pounds since starting in 2007.

For details on how to donate check the news section of the three fm website, or you can track them down on their walk – they commence on August 5th and finish on the 8th.
