Police in the North are asking people to clean up after themselves after reports of smashed glass on Ballaugh Beach.
Officers from the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team posted to Facebook to say that a member of the public cleared 10 bags of rubbish from the area last week.
Among the rubbish were smashed glass bottles and police say that they are aware more people are attending the beach following end-of-term parties.
They added that serious injury can be caused to animals and people.
