Slight Hold Up In Baines Trial
There was a slight hold up in yesterday’s proceedings in the Trevor Baines trial.
It was expected that the jury would retire their verdict yesterday, but acting Deemster Birkett’s summing up was delayed after a juror required medical treatment.
Things got back on track at lunchtime, it’s anticipated a verdict will be reached either today or tomorrow.
