Sky says it's looking into claims that people in the Isle of Man have been getting partial refunds – supposedly linked to VAT.
Numerous customers in the Island contacted the station at the end of last week to say the company was giving out discounts of 20 per cent.
It was allegedly because people couldn’t access the full range of Sky services, including broadband and home phone services.
However, Sky says this isn’t the case and the VAT agreement stands.
A spokesperson for the company says that VAT in the Isle of Man is payable at the usual UK rate of 20 per cent, with no planned changes to this arrangement.
