The Island's chief constable says there's been more than one assault on his officers each day for almost a week.
Police head Gary Roberts took to Twitter to point out six officers have been assaulted in just the past five days.
Two men are due to appear at Douglas courthouse today facing charges from two separate incidents.
In total, four officers were hurt.
In the last five days six officers from @iompolice have been assaulted. Today two men will appear in court to face charges from two separate incidents in which four officers were assaulted.
