A Manx cyclist has been knighted by the Prince of Wales.
Mark Cavendish attended a ceremony at Windsor Castle this afternoon, where he was awarded for 'his outstanding contribution to the sport of cycling.'
Sir Mark is the most successful sprinter of all time, coming 164th in the world of cycling following his Tour of Hungary win in May.
He also won his 35th Tour de France in July.
