Singer outed as Allinson and Hooper take victory in Ramsey

Longstanding Ramsey MHK Leonard Singer has been ousted from the constituency after 20 years in politics. 

He was beaten into third place in the House of Keys General Election recording 886 votes. 

Local GP Alex Allinson took an easy victory racking up 2,946 votes - he told 3FM he wants to make a difference: 

The second seat in the constituency went to Liberal Vannin Party candidate Lawrie Hooper who secured 1,471 votes - he told the station it's time to move away from 'local issues': 

Controversial candidate Nick Crowe took fourth place with 716 votes - John McDonough came in last with 236.
