Leece Found Guilty of the Murder of Terry Losh
Simon Paul Leece was this afternoon found guilty of the murder of 61 year old Terry Losh.
Builder Losh died in the fire started by Leece at a property on 19 Demesne Road on 22nd March 2009.
It took the jury, made up of 7women and 5 men just shy of three days to deliver their verdict.
On top of the murder charge Leece was also found guilty of arson with intent to endanger life in relation to a seperate blaze started on Peveril Street.
He was also found guilty of arson being reckless in relation to the Clarke Street fire.
He was found not guilty for the fire started on Bucks Road however.
Deemster Birkett told Leece that he would be looking at a life sentence, but has adjourned the sentencing until a psychiatric report can be carried out.
Sentencing will be carried out now in October.
