A former restaurant and wine bar in central Douglas could become a convenience shop selling Manx produce.
Harbatta & Daugherty Ltd of Kewaigue has applied for permission to convert the former Bar George on Hill Street.
In its application the company says it would sell fresh lunches and meals for office workers, residents, and visitors.
And it adds it plans to stock and promote local goods such as flour, milk, cheese, eggs and alcohol.
