A local charity has rescued a Manx Shearwater.
The Manx Wild Bird Aid has taken in the animal, who had feathers covered in oil.
The bird was found struggling to keep his head above water at Marina drive and extremely weak and dehydrated.
The charity says its keeping him warm and tube-feeding him until he's strong enough to survive the stressful washing process to remove the oil.
If you'd like to support the tremendous work the charity does, you can set up a standing order and find full details on its Facebook page.
