MHK John Houghton will launch as a last grasp attempt to secure the future of Drug Advice Service and Helpline, DASH, today.
The charity had previously been stripped of its funding by the Department of Social Care, with it unable to survive on fundraising alone.
Mr Houghton has branded the situation disgusting, saying many people have come to rely on DASH as they battle to overcome problems with drugs.
He'll be asking the Chief Minister what can be done to save it in the House of Keys today.
