Government employment costs came to nearly £28million for September.
It was revealed in written response to a question from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse in the House of Keys this week.
Policy and Reform Minister, Chris Thomas, stated the total came to £27.7million.
It referred to those directly employed on contracted hours.
