A section of the Raad Ny Foillan has been closed as the path is not passable.
The Department of Infrastructure says the area from Port Mooar to Maughold Head received substantial damage last winter.
The decision was made to close the path for repairs earlier than expected following an inspection, as the condition of the path has worsened since the beginning of the year.
The department says the public will be kept up to date on how things progress.
